Service Update: August 14th 2026
Model Updates
New Models: OpenAI GPT-5.5, GPT-5.6 Sol, GPT-5.6 Terra, and GPT-5.6 Luna are now available for all users. Anthropic Claude Opus 4.8 and Sonnet 5.0, as well as Gemini 3.5 Flash, 3.5 Flash-Lite, and 3.6 Flash, are now available for select users.

Model Updates
- New Models: OpenAI GPT 5.4 is now available for all users. Gemini 3.1 and Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4.6, Opus 4.6 and Opus 4.7 are now available for select users.

- Bulk upload for agents: Users can now bulk upload users when sharing a custom agent with others
- UI Updates: The Features Panel has been moved from the right hand side to the left hand side. All functionality of the features remains the same.

New Features
- Sharing Agents: Users can now share custom agents with other CHAT users. For information on how to do this view the CHAT user guide.
- Pin Favorite Models: Within the Model Selection Dropdown Menu, users have the ability to “Pin” models. These models will appear under the “Search messages” bar in the left hand chat history menu.
- Inline Diagrams: Text based inline diagrams can now be rendered directly within conversations.
- Support for Audio Files using Gemini models: Using the “Upload to Provider” option will allow users to upload audio files with Gemini Models

- Bug Fix: Resolved an issue that prevented certain models from automatically naming the thread in the chat history menu
- File Upload Improvement and Stability: Optimized the RAG API to improve context retrieval accuracy, enabling more page-specific responses.

Session Management: An automatic session timeout policy has been implemented, logging users out after 15 minutes of idle time for enhanced security.

- Global Columbia Agents: Introduced pre-built, ready-to-use Columbia Agents for Image Generation and Google Search functionality. These agents utilize the current default model for CHAT and are available to all users.
